Solange Rabello Art Gallery
ART MIAMI 2004
January 8 – 12
Booth # 626
Solange Rabello Art Gallery
will be present at the ART MIAMI 2004, displaying the works
of 5 of its represented artists. In our booth #626, Carla
Fache, Evelina Villaça, Jackie Gorissen, Lucila Filizola and
Victor Brecheret Filho will be showing examples of their
artwork to the great multitude expected to attend ART MIAMI 04
The five
artists have already shown their works at the Solange Rabelo
Art Gallery. As a space in which the curatorial line
encourages the cultural diversity we will be showing three
Brazilian artists – Brecheret, Filizola and Villaça – a Chilean –
Carla Fache – and a French, American – Jackie Gorissen.
Carla
Fache – Chilean artist whose works are an extension of
her senses, flooded with sensuality and vibration. Her canvases –
predominantly red – are quite of an experience to the spectator:
at the same time they excite because of the extension of the base
color, they bring out reflection from the emotional load they
have.

Evelina Villaça – Brazilian
with great knowledge of her craft, she’s in constant crossover
between 2 and 3D works. Evelina seeks in her artwork the dialogue
between the spiritual and material shapes. In order to get a
smoother way to deal with such a complex grammar, she’s bound to
use mix media so to achieve her goals.
Jackie Gorissen – From the
tiny French village of Saint Armand Montrond, Jackie Gorissen
takes a travel into the imaginary, following the dialectical
tradition so dear to his country fellows. It is through his
incredible textures and movement that this self-taught artist
gives body to a paradox: eloquence and thoughtfulness.
Lucila Filizola – Brazilian
architect and artist, Lucila comes to be a painter whose artworks
denote a great skill on space composition and a great talent to
manage monochromic-to-be canvases. Out of the plastic beauty of
her paintings, there’s a constant and unveiled discussion full of
drama and sensitivity.
Victor Brecheret Filho –
Engineer and sculptor, Victor happens to be the son of the most
celebrated Brazilian sculptor of the 20th century. He
lends his talent to compositions in which the physical gesture
presumes a deep conceptual reasoning. His works have the allure to
please those who may want an object for pleasure and others, for
the sake of its artistic intensity |
