Abstract
Passion:
CARLA FACHE
By Marya
Summers
Carla Fache’s passion emanates from her intense, abstract
work.
“First, I need inspiration, and then I let my imagination
flow, indulging all my senses—body, mind, and soul—using
colors to express myself on a blank canvas until a piece of
art is born,” Fache explains.
Her favorite hue is red “because it is energy, passion, and
sensuality. Red is a color with personality. It makes a
statement,” the Chilean-born artist claims.
But Fache also relishes the spiritual as well as the sensual
aspects of her art. She believes that her art helps her evolve
as a person: “While I paint I reflect on life and my emotions
bloom. Painting gives me peace, energy, and maturity.”
Sensuality and spirituality are naturally paired for this now
Miami-based abstract expressionist. “These qualities come
together like soul mates, each one needs the other,” she
explains.
Already developing impressive credentials at the age of 27,
Fache has displayed her work at prestigious art fairs such as
Art Miami, Art Basel, and Art Philadelphia.
You can experience her paintings for yourself during a gallery
walk on the 2nd Thursday of the month (next shows on June 10 &
July 8) in Miami’s Design District, when all the galleries
will be open to the public and serving refreshments. Carla
Fache’s paintings will be displayed at Dileto, 1 NE 40th
Street.
